• 【Powered by USB 3.0 High Speed】Enhanced USB 3.0 not only delivers fast data transfers with DVD 8X and CD 24X maximum read/write speeds, but also ensures smooth, stable, and reliable operation with strong error correction and minimal noise. For modern ultra-slim laptops with only USB-C ports, a USB 3.0 to USB-C adapter is included, allowing a seamless and hassle-free connection with almost all computers, old and new
• 【Wide Compatibility & Notes】This external CD/DVD reader writer is compatible with Windows 11/10/8.1/7/Vista/XP, Linux, and macOS. • 【Best Things to Know Before Buying】(1) Due to macOS limitations, the physical eject button on the drive will not function once a disc has been recognized by the system. To eject, simply right-click the desktop icon and select "Eject," or choose "File" > "Eject" from the top menu. (2) On Mac, the disc icon will appear on the desktop only after a disc is inserted and successfully read. (3) "Plug & Play" means no driver installation is required, but you will still need a media player or burning software to read or write discs
